Huh

I wish that I knew the secret that Fellini, Bergman, Godard, Hitchcock, and others (more recently Spike Jonze) throughout time seem to have known: how to take incredibly negative, self-destructive thoughts, and channel them into brilliant work. Create masterpieces with them. To take strange, upsetting, unspeakable ideas and find some way to resolve them through the use of art. To take uncertainty, insecurity, no matter how definitive, deep seeded, and painful, and resolve themselves to using it as a way to speak to people and to create grand representations of what it ultimately means to be human. I wish I had that skill.
